This series is for players with a few years' experience wanting to know how the experts always seem to "guess right." The truth is, top bridge players often have to be Sherlock Holmes to deduce the winning defense. In these three weeks I will show you how to use the clues you have available as bridge defenders. If you can remember the bidding, use logic, interpret your partner's signals and do a little counting, you too can follow the clues to defeat contracts that others will let through!
