Mondays, 6:15 PM Eastern starting June 16th. If you recently took a “Learn to Play Bridge” class, or would enjoy a gentle re-introduction to modern bidding methods, this course is a great next step. As you play hands in class reflecting the day’s topic, we’ll also discuss strategies for taking all your tricks. Students bid and play hands in class using our fabulous online classroom, Shark Bridge. It's easy and fun! This course assumes you know the basics of taking tricks in trump suits and no-trump; and opening the bidding and responding. July 7 Stayman & Jacoby Transfer Conventions Find your major suit fit after a 1NT Opening bid July 14 Strong 2C Opening Bids and Bidding to Slam How to score big with those mega-strong hands July 21 Signal your Partner on Defense Tell your partner what to lead to defeat the contract Series cost is $129. Singles are welcome and will be paired up in class.
